I’m still exploring my place in the field of visual communication design. However, illustration is at the heart of my practice. I’ve always loved drawing, especially animals and organic things, and I value a strong visual flow and a sense of internal logic in the images I create.
My work often starts from real world i inspiration, shapes and forms found in nature, and then evolves into something more personal, imaginative, or abstract. I enjoy twisting the familiar into something new. I’m fascinated by movement and flow within static imagery, and that’s something I have explored more recently in my creative work.
Visual logic is important to me because it shapes not only the composition of my work, but also how I approach my tools and methods. I like to experiment with different materials and set self-imposed limitations, which helps me discover new techniques, styles and solutions. That process of inventing and re-inventing ways of working is central to how I think as a designer.
